mini cooper advertisement illustration for Junior illustration class

I had to make an advertisement illustration in 11.5x20.5, which was really really weird proportion. So I chose mini cooper (it is the coolest car in da world!), and illustrated how mini cooper could fit into small space (my teacher has mini, and she said it is so much easier to do parallel parking in one move than any other types of cars :P) I drew front view, side view, back view, and top view by hand (yeah, they are not just vectored images or traced images, I measured all the parts using ruler, and drew them.) and colored with photoshop

It was for my final assignment for Book illustration class, Jaime Zollars for instructor

The assignment was to create an illustration with one character I created and another character from other classmate. My character’s name was…. I forgot…. I think it was something Lennon (….???). And another was a waldo by Albert. So i illustrated a scene of an accident, my character was running to the accident while everyone was running away from it, and waldo was hiding in the crowd.

Africa is such a great place to get some inspiration for artists, especially who lives in urban cities. So primitive, strong colors, energetic, I think that was why Gauguin liked to live in the island in pacific ocean (forgot its name :P)
